11. Low Platelets
One of the literally hidden signs of liver damage is a low platelet count. While low
platelets usually don’t cause any clear symptoms, very low levels can lead to easy
bruising, as well as difficulty healing from cuts and scrapes. If these sound like
something similar to what you are experiencing, then a simple blood test will tell you if
your platelets are in the healthy range or not. Very low levels of platelets cause a
condition called Thrombocytopenia, which is a clear indication of liver damage and a
serious condition in itself at the same time.
